When it was time for new bikes my wife and I automatically went to Erik’s.
I have always had a great experience when stopping at ERIC'S. I have made purchases from bikes to accessorys. I have had a a lot of questions and always come away satisfied. Most recently I was having trouble with a used bike I had purchased up north. It had been to two different bike shops only to have the problem unresolved. I brought it in to Brian S at the Coon Rapids store and he went above and beyond in helping me and actually fixed the problem with my bike. Brian took the time to talk about what the issue was and what I need to have a better experience with the bike and its features. Thanks again Brian for your customer service!

I like trailhead cycle much better. Plus there is no shortage of great bike shops in Minneapolis.
Simply put there products are overpriced, the service is terrible, the time frame has gotten a lot worse as well, and outright unwilling to handle warranty claims. There are plenty of other bike shops don't go to this location...
We have had our twenty-year old bikes tuned up at Erik’s numerous times. The service department is excellent. Brian and his staff do a great job! If there is ever a problem they are always willing to take care of it as quickly as possible. Very much appreciated!
Great buying experience. Tim in sales, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He wanted to make sure the bikes we were looking at would satisfy our needs and equally important, be properly fitted. We purchased new Specialized bikes and are extremely happy with them.
I've gone to this shop multiple times, every single time that I have gone in it has been like pulling teeth to get work done on my bike. Second of all I went in there with a little project bike and was treated very poorly. Unless you got some simple work that needs to be done on your bike I do not suggest going here it is overpriced the customer service is terrible. In 2015 service was good enough for me to continue coming back. In 2016 they did some work but turned a simple spoke job away, this year they refuse to work on my bike after it's was at their shop for a day. I live about 35 miles away from this location and I always went there because I thought that this was the best place to get service done on your bike. This is incorrect there are plenty of competitors in the area that are more skilled and willing to work with the customer then this location. I highly suggest not going to this particular location. The head bike Tech is extremely lazy and the general manager support him being that lazy. I had minor customization done to my bike and was turned away by both particular individuals simply because the bike wieghted too much. When I go to a mechanic on my vehicle or anything else in my life I have never experienced somebody openly humiliating me in front of other customers simply because they don't want to lift a heavy frame bike. Over the dozen times that I have taken particular bike in, they have steadily gotten worse each and every single time. Last year they wouldn't warranty rack that I had them install. came apart in less than a month I got nothing but excuses and eventually they made it right but I had to complain over and over and over again I bought the rack from them I had them install it they didn't properly tighten the bolts and it came loose and got caught in my spokes and then they wouldn't even fix my spokes I had to take it to a different bike shop.
I purchased my first snowboard set up here and the staff that I had talked to were very friendly and made it easy. I will for sure return if needed.
