My fiance and I booked a block of rooms for our upcoming wedding with the notion that this is something occurs frequently and is well taken care of. We initially had no concerns. We blocked our rooms over the phone and were told at that time that we had up until 10 days before the wedding date to book rooms within that block prior to releasing those rooms. Totally understandable, no problem there. It wasn't until we called a little over two weeks before the wedding to confirm this final booking date for our guests that we were then notified that we had only 30 DAYS prior to the wedding to reserve rooms within that block, and that the block no longer existed. This was NOT what we were told. The individual we spoke with on the phone was unsympathetic and completely rude. He asked me three times what the wedding party name was because he interjected that many times to take other phone calls without having the courtesy to even put me on hold. We came in later that day and spoke with Todd, the manger on duty at the time. I wish I could give this kind man a raving review of his own because he was WONDERFUL. He showed true customer service and took the time to correct several mistakes the hotel had made in booking our guests under the wrong wedding party, booking them without the promised block rate, and extended our date for booking a few days. He really took care of us and had us leaving feeling GREAT! However, a few days later we had a few more guests call to book their rooms and for the second time they were told the hotel was completely booked and no rooms were available. The GM was completely worthless in coming up with a solution to fixing this problem and restoring our faith in this hotel. As a bride, this was a huge stressor for us and was frustrating for not only us but our guests as well. It's really unfortunate that this happened so close to our wedding or we would have chosen another hotel. Brides! For the peace of mind, exhaust all other options before choosing this hotel!
Great hotel. Very nice, spacious bedrooms. Gym is laughable and small, but the pool is decent. Has a hot tub area as well but can be seen from the breakfast dining area through glass walls if privacy is an issue for you. Helpful, friendly staff and they had my charger I left behind in the room when I went back for it the next day. In room Wi-Fi but I had to ask for the password. Concessions by the desk could use with some additional choices. Very small selection.
We stayed here for a meeting for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra hangers and were delivered a handful with a smile. Rooms were very clean. The pool area was clean and nice with a rack of pool towels for convenience. We had a nice relaxing time in the hot tub the first night we stayed. Towels in our room were changed out every day. The meeting room was comfortable and perfect for our needs. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because I've had better breakfast offerings and a slightly more comfortable bed. Overall, though, a great pace to stay for the price.
My stay was very nice, nothing overly special though. The room was nice, the staff was lethargic, but very helpful. The only issue I had was access to the hotel, if you aren't on the one way street in front of the hotel, you have to food the back entrance. Overall nice hotel though.
My best friends got married and this was our hotel that we were staying at. On Saturday night after the reception we got back to the hotel and we were just relaxing when the bride went to go put her feet in the jacuzzi tub in there bathroom and upon turning the jets on black crud spit out of jets. Upon telling management Sunday morning she was told that everyone wants more and essentially that they shouldn't have booked that amenity. The manager never apologized just went off that well you booked it you run the risk of being let down. Appearance was good but management needs work.
