After waiting a week for a product I was told would arrive on Friday, I went in and they did not have the product I was looking for. Very disappointed and will be ordering ONLY online from now on. Managers did not offer to help the young girl trying to help me (she was new, young, and stocking shelves) nor did they apologize for not having the product I needed in stock. They didn’t even try to help me find a similar product I could use in the mean time while I placed my order online and waited for it to come in. I LOVE Ulta but this Ulta store is poorly managed and their managers are the worst of all their employees. They need better management and better employee training.
I've been getting my hair done by Jenn for over a year now - she is by far the best stylist I've ever had! I started with her at the Roseville location and have followed her to the Coon Rapids location. She does wonderful work - she is able to help guide decisions about style and color and is super easy to talk to (which is important in a stylist as you usually end up spending multiple hours with them each visit). She also styled my hair for my wedding and went way above and beyond - testing styles on manikins at home and making the requested changes. I would recommend Jenn to anyone and everyone looking for a hair stylist - whether it be for a simple trim or elaborate coloring.

I used to like getting my brows done at Ulta with a brow technician named Molly. She always did my eyebrows correctly by starting with taking a little hair off and asking if I wanted her to take off more. She ended up moving to a different store location, so now the Coon Rapids Ulta has a new brow technician. I got my eyebrows done in Ulta's Salon and the new lady waxed my eyebrows wayyy to thin!! I was shocked when I first saw them in the mirror and cried as soon as I got home. Before she started waxing my eyebrows I explained to the new brow technician how I wanted my eyebrows to be, showing her the areas that hair needed to be removed using a mirror and pencil to guide her. I told her that I barely wanted any hair removed because my eyebrows already had a nice shape, I just wanted her to clean up the tiny baby hairs that were growing back. She reassured me that she "wouldn't go crazy" with waxing my eyebrows. She ended up taking off half of my brows and making a whole NEW uneven shape (one brow has an arch while the other brow is more rounded without an arch) that does not suit my face. One brow is also noticeably thiner than the other and she took hair off the front of my brows which I dont know why she was doing!?!?! I DID NOT GET A REFUND. This was the worst waxing experience of my life and after this I dont think I will trust anyone to do my eyebrows again. I have to pencil in my eyebrows every single day now until they grow back. Im NEVER getting my brows done at the Coon Rapids Ulta ever again.
