Banfield coon rapids SUCKS!

Dissatisfied. Revenue focused by creating fear for your pets health and then requesting extra tests rather than treating the issue.

We ended up calling Waite park and went there ASAP and they took care of him and fixed him. Only paid $15 after.

First thing in the door there's the big sales pitch on taking an extended warranty on your dog.

My kitten received the regular vaccines and a couple hours after we got home became SO SICK and I called the vet to get him in so they could try to stop the reaction and THEY REFUSED TO SEE HIM! And after I argued and fought over the phone they agreed to see him for $250!! WE HAVE THE PET PLAN !! They only cost that we should've had to pay is for whatever medicine they'd end up giving him.

This banfield is HORRIBLE! We originally went to the Waite park banfield which is AMAZING!

My pup dog passed away, so a couple of months after, I closed the bank account his wellness plan payments were paid from. I just received a notice from a collection agency for almost $300! I took my pet to Banfield his whole life, 15 years, but they would not reverse all of the charges for the time after he passed away. I wouldn't recommend Banfield's plan to anyone. They act like they're so concerned with you and your pet, but really it's just about the money for them.

So I'm working at home. Pug

To put it bluntly they are nothing but money grubbing pigs!

So wife brings dog back to ****field. Our Vet has no appointment because Thanksgiving.

I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a vet. I have gone there for a couple of years but this is going to be my last. I am finding it harder and harder to put my dog though sitting in a cage or crate for hours upon hours for their routine 6 month checkup dropped Cinnamon off at 7:30 am picked her up just before 1 pm. It doesn't take 5 and a half hours for routine shots and fecal check. The next thing that has started to bother me is I really do not know who is doing the work on my pets as not allowed to be with them it could be someone in training as far as I know. The last thing is I seem to be dealing less and less with the vet normally only at pickup but my vet informed me if I requested I could see her more. So bottom line is if you want a low cost service for your pets this might be for you but read the plan as even if you lose your pet my may still have to pay. I have decided the old phrase is true you get what you pay for. Even if it costs more I will be going to a AAHA approved animal hospital where I am excluding surgery with my pets during treatment. Being AAHA approved you know they are maintaining the highest standards. Just wanted to update I have a new vet and what a great difference from the Banfield I might be paying more but I know who is treating my dogs and they call to see how things are going now and then even though my dogs have not been in for any treatment for a while. Never will go back to corporate vets again.

So they charged us around $500 for this.

Why would I do this first thing in the door with a sick dog? And it continues the whole time you're there. They really want you're bank account number. And if you do it that's it. Your not getting your money back. Your dog dies, same thing. And it might here.

And most importantly, they NEVER gave the dog what she really needed, oral antibiotics.

We brought my dog in on a Sunday, she developed a severe ear infection and it was Sun. so our regular Vet was closed.

So they treat my dog in the most costly and ineffective way. First testing, for what is obviously a ear infection. Then she needs a several hour hospital stay. My wife goes back to get her. Another sales pitch for puppy plan.

Stay away from Banfield. I would take my dog or cat to the emergency Vet. before Banfield. Though costly at least the treatment would be appropriate.

They put my Dogs life at risk, just so we would come back to spend more

With out us practically begging for that and nothing more.

They want to do $1000+ in testing, X-rays on her back, you name it. I tell wife to get good oral antibiotics and get the hell outta there.

We moved and transferred and now make the drive to Waite park cause they're just horrible.

These people must work on commission, and should be ashamed of themselves!

Glad to report that puggy is doing better. The antibiotics worked within one day and she is improving. After antibiotics we will go to our regular Vet to have her looked at.
